Profhilo is a next-generation hyaluronic acid (HA) skin booster designed to improve hydration, firmness, and overall skin quality without altering facial volume. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Profhilo uses a high-concentration, non-cross-linked HA that disperses beneath the skin after being injected into specific points—typically ten on the face—over about 12 hours. This gradual release deeply hydrates tissues while stimulating collagen and elastin production, leading to subtle but cumulative improvements in skin texture and elasticity over 2–3 months. The usual treatment protocol involves two sessions spaced four weeks apart, with effects lasting 6–9 months, after which a maintenance session is recommended. Profhilo is ideal for areas such as the face, neck, and hands, offering hydration, tightening, and skin quality enhancement without adding bulk, making it distinct from traditional fillers that primarily provide volume and contour enhancement.
